A Lantis, built for a purpose. That purpose is the one I desire to see it achieve: to compete against FRs and 4WDs and stick with them. And with the FITT 2000 Shootout, this Lantis will be doing just that, as the only FF in the contest.
This is the Lance of Lantis, mixed with a lot of the Lantis RM’s blood. It looks the same, but is in fact completely different. Indeed, this took a fair while to set up. Many jiggery-pokery bits had to be sorted out, with myself trying to find the perfect suspension setup for a fair while, and also having to manage LSD and brake balance.
Overall, it might not actually be the nicest Lantis to drive, but it was the fastest I could get it to. Which is kinda what matters in these shootouts, is it not? Your test car will be up soon, testers.
